One of the most challenging parts about making the mod is wrapping everything up and integrating all parts that have to work togheter in order for the mod to be presentable. Maybe this doesn't make a lot of sense if you are not a modder but the bottom line is that modelling the gun in 3dsm is only half of the work. The rest of it, is putting togheter all the files (sounds, physics, textures, kit files and so on) so that they can work togheter. It is a complex and sometimes tedious task. As a matter of fact the modelling part is the most fun and also the quickest part of gun making. Once that is done, the rest is pure trial and error, tweaking and adjusting parameters so that the gun actually interacts with the rest of the game as you would expect. In any case, enough with my ranting. Here are the pictures of all the guns in my M4 mod. Can't have a M4 mod without a silenced M4. At night this weapons is your best friend. Not as good for CQB as the H&K MPs but still a good choice if you need a combination of stealth and long range. The silencer needs special ammunition in order to work properly. The combination of silencer and reduced-power bullets reduces the effective range. The range is still greater than the traditional silenced SMGs. M4 SD This is a kick-ass gun. I tried it and I can't get enough of it. Need to pop a bad guy from far away? No problem! Snipe him with the 3x Trijicon scope mounted on the M4. Some pesky georgian rebel is trying to sneak on you from behind some bush and you can't get a good line of sight on him? This is a full auto M4 after all (M4A1): just hose the bushes with your M4 in full auto and stuff him with lead! Gotta clear a house full of Somali soldiers? switch to the Remigton mounted underneath the M4 and let's rock and roll! The bodies are just going to keep on piling up behind you! M4 Masterkey This is the traditional M4/M203. Not much to say here. This is the most reliable combo of them all. You can either kill baddies from a distance with the help of the Trijicon scope or you can breach doors and clear rooms from a safe distance with the grenade launcher. M4 M203 Tired of that semi-useless M4 that comes with the standard Demo guy in Ghost recon? Here's a M4 with a big-ass An/PVS4 with a 3.6x scope mounted on it. Much more useful if you need to carry out dangerous demolition tasks in areas infested with baddies. That scope comes mighty useful when you have to clear areas from a safe distance before going in to plant some fireworks! M4 AN/PVS4 This is a special type of M4. The concept behind this gun is simple: keep the trigger pressed until they are all dead or you run out of ammo. Considering that you have 100 rounds in this puppy, you'll probably run out of enemies faster than you will run out of ammo. Comes with the standard M4 iron sights. M4 100 Rounds C-MAG This is a Israely Spec Ops version of the M16. It's an M16 flattop ready to mount special kits. In this case I mounted a AN/PVS2 with a 5.5x magnification. Great weapon when for your medium range sniping and CQB needs. M16A4 Israeli Special Forces version of the M16 Update for Version 1.2 Desert Eagle .50 as a sidearm M4A1 with bipod, flashlight, laser pointer and 5.5x Trijicon scope M4A1 Silenced with bipod, flashlight, laser pointer and a 4x Trijicon scope In addition the M4A1/M203 is getting updated to include a flashlight, a laser sight and I will trade the Trijicon 3.5x for a 3.4 elcan sight. In case you are wondering this is the standard M4/203 combo that American Special Operations Troops took in Afghanistan.
